1. Korak: Forbidden Tomb Synopsis: Fleeing a tidal wave, Korak climbs onto a plateau and sees a funeral procession carrying a large Egyptian sarcophagus. Suddenly lightning strikes the coffin and all the bearers are killed. Korak finds a living boy inside, Prince Im-ho-tep, who was being buried alive because of the bad luck that follows him everywhere. For example, on the way home Korak has to defend a lake village from a gigantic octopus by driving a board through its eye; he then has to save a woman's baby from a giant horned monkey. When they reach the ancient Egyptian palace of the Prince's father, the royal vizier commands his pet panther to attack the son of Tarzan, but Korak slays the beast in the usual way. Korak convinces the king that actually the royal vizier is plotting against the Prince, and the vizier is thrown into prison.
2. Tarzan: Escape from Pellucidar Synopsis: After saving Dian and Sari from the traitorous General Roag and his Sagoth allies, Tarzan, the Waziri, and Captain Hines have to travel to Bhodes, the moon of Pellucidar, in the O-220 dirigible in order to rescue Korak, Dav-an and David Innes from a Ma-hars' feast. Remarks: Continuing the reprinting of Manning's Tarzan newspaper comic strip. 3. Tarzan's Jungle Album (1 page photo of Gordon Scott)
4. Carson of Venus: Mars or Bust Synopsis: Carson sets off for Mars but calculates the trajectory without considering the moon and ends up on Venus instead. During his flight he thinks back to the events of his life. Parachuting from his rocket, he lands in giant trees and is accosted by a vicious predator on an apparently man-made bridge. Local inhabitants eventually come to his rescue, and take him into custody. Remarks: This episode begins the reprinting of the Kaluta Venus series. It is closely adapted from the opening chapters of Pirates of Venus, but the writer omits the introductory section about ERB and has the reader be the direct receiver of Carson's telepathic messages instead.
5. Tarzan Synopsis: Tarzan and Von Harben travel through the Elephant's graveyard into Pal-ul-don, with its gigantic dinosaurs. Remarks: This episode reprints Tarzan Sunday comic strips from fall of 1932.
6. Amazon of Barsoom Synopsis: Three newly hatching eggs are attacked by a lizard-man, and only egg can hatch its occupant, a young female who uses the lizard-man's own sword to kill him. Her father is disappointed that the two males were slain and only a female survives, but later when Thorjah saves her father from wild demon-apes on a hunting expedition he is glad to have her as his daughter. Remarks: Among the oddities in this Martian story is a coloring error of making the red Martians green. According to this story, Mars Kujak is the jeddak of Helium at the time of the tale. 7. The Ape Vine (letters page, no Krenkel art)
